Not ready for a visit yet? Email a few photos of your floor to info@kitchenerflooring.ca with the approximate room sizes and your town.
Include a wide shot of each room, a close-up of the existing floor and any damage, and a photo of the floor edge at a door or vent if you can. We will reply with a rough price range and any questions.
A ballpark is not a quote. Your firm price comes after we measure and check the subfloor in person.
What to Expect at Your In-Home Estimate
A typical estimate takes 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the project.
- Measure every room and note doorways, transitions, stairs and trim.
- Check the subfloor for flatness, soft spots and squeaks.
- Test moisture in wood subfloors and concrete slabs.
- Talk through options, including samples if you asked us to bring them.
- Send your written quote, itemized so you can see material, prep and installation separately.
Our Service Area and Travel Radius
We cover everywhere within about a 45 minute drive of our Kitchener shop. That includes Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Woolwich, Wellesley and Wilmot townships, Elora, Puslinch, Rockwood and Acton.
Most of Kitchener and Waterloo is within 15 minutes. Cambridge is 20 to 25 minutes, Guelph about 30, and Acton at the eastern edge about 45. See all service areas.
Hours, Emergency and After-Hours Calls
We are open Monday to Saturday from 7:00am to 9:30pm, and Sunday from 9:00am to 9:00pm. Those long hours let us book evening estimates for people who work during the day.
For water damage and urgent repairs, call rather than using the form. If water is still coming in, call a plumber first to stop the source.
For Contractors, Builders and Property Managers
General contractors, builders and property managers can call or email with drawings, specifications and site schedules. We quote from plans, provide WSIB clearance and insurance certificates, and work after hours and on weekends.
